Privacy Policy

Your data, plainly explained.

Last updated: July 29, 2026

The short version

Lift runs inside your own browser and works through the Depop session you're already signed in to — it never sees or stores your Depop password. The only personal detail Lift collects is an email address you choose to enter, which is used to keep track of your plan and to pre-fill checkout if you upgrade. Your listing data never leaves your browser. We don't sell your data, and there are no third-party advertising trackers.

Who this covers

This policy explains how the Lift browser extension and the website at depoplift.store handle information. Lift is an independent tool for Depop sellers and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Depop.

What Lift collects

Your email address

When you enter your email in the extension, it is stored on your device and synced to our database (hosted on Supabase) so we can associate your plan and usage with you, and — if you choose to upgrade — pre-fill it at checkout. Entering your email is your choice; the free tier works without an account.

Plan and usage counts

Lift keeps a count of how many listings you've refreshed in the current month, which plan you're on, and your subscription status. This is stored on your device and mirrored to our database alongside your email. We use it only to enforce plan limits and show you your usage.

Your Depop session

To refresh your listings, Lift reads the access_token that Depop has already set in your browser for your logged-in session, and stores it locally on your device so it can make requests on your behalf. This token stays on your device — it is never sent to us or to any third party. Lift never asks for, sees, or stores your Depop password.

Your listing data

When Lift refreshes a listing, it reads that listing's details from Depop and writes them back to Depop to re-date it. This all happens directly between your browser and Depop. Your listing content never passes through or is stored on our servers.

What we do not collect

  • Your Depop password — Lift never has access to it.
  • Your listing photos, descriptions, prices, buyers, or messages.
  • Browsing history outside of what's needed to operate on depop.com.
  • Any data for advertising. There are no ad or analytics trackers in the extension.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with the services that make Lift work:

  • Supabase — our database provider, which stores your email, plan, and usage counts on our behalf.
  • Stripe — our payment processor. If you upgrade, Stripe handles your payment and card details directly; we never see or store your card information. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle payments.

We may disclose information if required by law.

Where your data lives & how long we keep it

Your email, plan, and usage counts are stored in our Supabase database for as long as you use Lift. Everything else — your Depop token, your settings, your listing data — lives only in your browser's local storage and is removed when you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data.

Your choices

  • Use Lift without an email — the free tier doesn't require one.
  • Change or remove your email — edit it any time in the extension's Account tab.
  • Delete your data — email us and we'll remove your record from our database. Uninstalling the extension clears everything stored on your device.

Children

Lift is not directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Lift after a change means you accept the updated policy.
